Job Description
Hired is hiring a remote Technical Recruiter to build and optimize Zara, an AI-powered recruitment tool. This role combines deep technical expertise in ML and NLP with recruitment product development to automate candidate sourcing, screening, and engagement. The position is fully remote across Europe, Middle East and Africa with a payout of $160K - $300K per year.
## Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models to improve Zara’s candidate matching accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and maintain backend infrastructure supporting NLP for resume parsing and job description analysis
- Integrate Zara with applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and third-party job platforms via APIs
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to refine AI training datasets and evaluate model performance
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and ethical AI standards in recruitment workflows
- Build scalable AI systems and improve automation in sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement
## Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong background in Natural Language Processing using libraries like spaCy or Hugging Face
- Experience building and deploying scalable AI systems in production environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction and integration
- Experience with RESTful APIs and data pipeline / ETL development
- Understanding of ethical AI principles and bias mitigation in recruitment systems
