Job Description
Azadea Group in Muharraq, Bahrain is hiring a full-time Shop Manager for Adidas to lead store operations and drive sales and customer experience. The role covers team management, inventory control, merchandising, budgeting, and ensuring brand standards are met. This on-site position requires 4-6 years of retail experience including 2 years in a managerial role, a bachelor's degree, and proficiency in English and MS Office.
## Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales and profitability
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity and report insights regularly
- Greet customers, assist them, and resolve complaints in line with service standards to build loyalty
- Ensure store licenses, certificates, and employee documents are valid and compliant with local regulations
- Oversee receiving, inventory activities, cycle counts, stock movements, transfers, damaged items, and shrinkage
- Analyze hourly, daily, and weekly sales, track top-selling items, identify size gaps, and coordinate replenishment
- Place accurate orders and meet stock and sell-out targets
- Prepare staff schedules based on budget, footfall, targets, and events, and communicate daily goals
- Log commercial and operational information on company platforms accurately and on time
- Manage the annual store budget, control costs, and report variances
- Maintain store image, cleanliness, visual merchandising, and maintenance in line with brand standards
- Produce reports on KPIs, sales trends, inventory, and team productivity to support decisions
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team
- Conduct daily team meetings to keep staff informed and engaged
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in retail or a similar role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial position
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with inventory management and sales analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and meet targets
