Job Description
AB SPECIALIZED in Saudi Arabia is hiring a Safety Officer for an on-site role. Implement health and safety standards at work sites to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
## Responsibilities
- Implement health and safety policies and procedures according to OSHA and ISO 45001 standards
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites and equipment and identify hazards
- Train employees on safety, first aid, and emergency evacuation
- Investigate accidents and injuries and prepare reports with root cause analysis
- Issue safe work permits such as working at height and hot work permits
- Promote safety culture and provide recommendations to improve work environment
## Requirements
- 3-5 years experience as Safety Officer in construction or industrial sector
- NEBOSH IGC or OSHA certification required. First aid trainer certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and safety regulations
- Inspection, reporting, and strong communication skills
- Excellent Arabic and good English
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Diploma in Occupational Safety
