Job Description
RIKAS Hospitality Group in Manama, Bahrain is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at Ninive Bahrain. The role focuses on delivering premium guest experiences, managing front-of-house teams, driving commercial performance, and maintaining operational and service standards. This full-time, on-site position requires 3-5 years in high-volume or premium dining and strong skills in leadership, cost control, and hospitality.
## Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and an exceptional guest experience
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the front-of-house team to maintain a positive, high-performing environment
- Supervise Assistant Managers and FOH staff to ensure consistent adherence to company standards and service procedures
- Prepare the restaurant for each service with focus on cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational readiness
- Monitor floor operations, table management, and service flow to maximize efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue
- Build guest relationships, handle feedback, and resolve complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
- Coordinate with Reservations, Back-of-House, and support teams to optimize bookings and service delivery
- Drive commercial results by increasing covers, promoting upselling, and tracking key business metrics
- Manage labor costs through scheduling and workforce planning aligned with business demand
- Control operational expenses, inventory, ordering, and stock to reduce waste and protect assets
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management to build a skilled team
- Conduct team briefings and training to uphold food knowledge, service, and operational standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and cash handling procedures
- Prepare operational reports, analyze performance, and implement improvements
- Support new initiatives, promotions, and projects in collaboration with senior management
## Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management in a high-volume or premium dining setting
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Excellent guest service and conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, F&B service, and hospitality standards
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and labor planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
