Job Description
Al Sharq Technology in Doha is hiring a QA / Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will develop test plans, perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing, and design automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress. Requires 2-4 years QA experience and residence in Qatar.
## Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects
- Ensure releases meet quality standards before deployment
- Report bugs clearly and track them through to resolution
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in QA / software testing
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar
## Preferred Certifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester
- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
