Major Construction Group in Sharjah, UAE is hiring a Procurement Specialist. Secure the best construction materials at the best price and quality to support company projects.
## Responsibilities
- Issue purchase orders for construction materials: cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, finishing
- Source new suppliers and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Collect quotations, perform comparisons, and conduct cost analysis
- Follow up with suppliers and ensure on-time delivery to project sites
- Ensure materials meet specifications and required quality standards
- Prepare monthly reports on procurement, budget, and maintain records
## Requirements
- 3-5 years procurement experience in contracting or construction materials
- Strong knowledge of construction material suppliers in UAE and local market
- Strong negotiation, analysis, time management, and organization skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, Procurement software
- Excellent Arabic + good English
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
