Job Description
GIG Gulf in Manama, Bahrain is hiring a full-time Non-Motor Claims Executive to manage the end-to-end processing of non-motor insurance claims. The role covers claims such as Home, Travel, Workmen Compensation, Marine Relocation, and Personal Accident, with a focus on fast resolution, customer service, and accurate payments. This on-site position requires 3+ years in non-motor claims, strong product knowledge, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
## Responsibilities
- Process Non-Motor claims from registration to payment, including Home, Travel, Workmen Compensation, Marine Relocation, Personal Accident, Golf, and similar lines
- Assess claims and make final decisions in line with policy and guidelines
- Maintain high standards of productivity in phone and email communication with brokers, customers, and service providers
- Ensure claims are completed and resolved within established timelines
- Arrange and approve claim payments to customers and providers accurately and on time
- Pursue recovery actions where applicable
- Follow up to collect outstanding documentation and request additional documents for assessment
- Interact with service providers such as repairers and loss adjusters to evaluate claims
- Handle client queries, complaints, and disputes via phone and email
- Provide regular feedback and reports to management on complex claims, resolutions, and emerging trends
- Contribute to improvements in claim-related templates and processes
- Perform other administrative functions related to claims operations
## Requirements
- Degree holder with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Non-Motor insurance claims
- Knowledge of P&C Non-Motor insurance business and claims processes
- Familiarity with Home, Travel, Workmen Compensation, Marine Relocation, Personal Accident, and Golf policies
- Strong customer service focus and negotiation skills
- Good written and verbal English communication and reporting skills
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities
- Good analytical skills and ability to identify trends
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Self-motivated with commitment to meeting daily targets and SLAs
- Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks
