Job Description
Human Capital Group Qatar is hiring an experienced IT Network Engineer in Doha for a 6-month contract role focused on enterprise networking. The position involves supporting network design, implementation, security, performance monitoring, and infrastructure optimization across routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and cloud networking environments.
## Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and improve enterprise network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related connectivity solutions.
- Track network performance and support reliable, scalable, and highly available infrastructure operations.
- Assess existing network designs and review vendor proposals to ensure they meet business and technical needs.
- Contribute to capacity planning and recommend improvements for network infrastructure growth and efficiency.
- Help maintain secure, stable, and efficient day-to-day network operations.
## Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in network design, implementation, and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and cloud networking.
- Practical experience working with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and wireless LAN solutions.
- Understanding of network security practices, RBAC, and content filtering.
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Availability for a 6-month contract assignment in Doha, Qatar.
