Job Description
Rapid Global Growth in Bahrain is hiring a remote full-time Investment Director to lead investment research and manage the end-to-end due diligence process for RGG Capital, a Dubai-based single family office. The role involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, macro research, portfolio coordination, and preparing investment memoranda for senior leadership. This position offers up to USD $260,000 per annum plus bonuses and benefits, and requires 8-12 years of investment experience with strong analytical and programming skills.
## Responsibilities
- Lead investment due diligence by sourcing, screening, and evaluating opportunities across strategies and geographies
- Conduct in-depth analysis of performance, investment process, risk metrics, and team capabilities
- Maintain regular contact with fund managers to assess strategy evolution, performance attribution, and organizational stability
- Coordinate the full due diligence lifecycle with internal team members and maintain trackers for timely updates
- Synthesize findings into comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership
- Conduct macro research and market analysis on economic data, central bank policy, and geopolitical developments
- Assess implications for markets and asset classes and develop scenario analyses to inform portfolio positioning
- Distill actionable insights and prepare periodic briefs for senior leadership
## Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience in investment management, investment research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation
- Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
- Programming skills in Python for investment analysis and portfolio management
- Exceptional research and written communication skills
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage projects in multi-stakeholder investment environments
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and industry-standard investment tools
## Preferred Qualifications
- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional certifications
- Additional programming skills in R, SQL, etc.
- Experience with emerging markets
- Proven portfolio management track record
