Job Description
Roads and Transport Authority RTA in Dubai, UAE is hiring an Interior Designer Expert for Rail Design. Lead interior design for metro and tram stations to deliver a world-class passenger experience.
## Responsibilities
- Develop concepts and interior designs for metro, tram, and rail stations
- Ensure designs comply with RTA standards, safety, and accessibility requirements
- Select materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture for public spaces
- Coordinate with architectural, civil, and electrical engineers for design integration
- Review contractor drawings and supervise on-site implementation
- Provide innovative design solutions focused on passenger experience and sustainability
## Requirements
- 8+ years interior design experience, with 3+ years in transport/rail projects preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of transport station design standards and fire safety
- Strong leadership + presentation + project management skills
- Excellent English required
