Job Description
Vistas Global in Doha is hiring an IT Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of IT projects within banking and financial services. You will manage projects end-to-end, oversee governance, vendor coordination, risk, budget, and stakeholder engagement. Requires 8+ years IT project management experience and PMP certification, with banking sector experience preferred.
## Responsibilities
*Project & Portfolio Management*
- Manage a portfolio of IT projects using the organization’s Project Management methodology
- Lead projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Prepare Project Initiation Documents, charters, and closure reports
- Monitor scope, timelines, budget, risks, and quality to ensure delivery aligned with business objectives
- Track project performance using KPIs and metrics
*Stakeholder & Vendor Management*
- Build relationships with business stakeholders and coordinate with IT, business units, and vendors
- Manage vendor contracts, deliverables, and performance
- Facilitate steering committee meetings, reviews, and workshops
- Provide regular status updates to senior management
*Governance, Risk & Compliance*
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and maintain risk/issue registers
- Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, security, and data protection standards
- Support internal and external audit activities
*Leadership & Team Management*
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal and external resources
- Resolve conflicts and resource issues, mentor team members, and promote collaboration
*Financial & Budget Management*
- Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs and resource utilization
- Track financial performance and support procurement and planning
*Technical Oversight & Reporting*
- Understand enterprise application architecture and system integrations
- Review technical solutions with architects and support technology decisions
- Prepare dashboards and executive reports and present progress to senior management
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
- MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
- Mandatory: PMP certification or equivalent PMI certification
- Preferred: PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, Agile Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation
- Minimum 8 years of IT Project Management experience
- Experience managing enterprise IT projects in Banking or Financial Services
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, governance, and portfolio management
- Experience managing vendors and third-party partners
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
