Join Qatar Duty Free as a Host/Hostess at Hamad International Airport, where you'll provide exceptional service to guests. Your role will involve greeting visitors, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
## Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests while presenting menus with a friendly demeanor and maintaining positive body language.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by treating all visitors professionally and striving to exceed their expectations.
- Manage table bookings and dining reservations, escorting guests to their tables and monitoring the dining area for availability.
- Regularly check the reservation list and coordinate with service staff and kitchen for guest preparations.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining facilities and ensure the dining area is always presentable.
- Collect feedback from guests through comment cards and compile it for management review.
- Answer phone inquiries regarding the menu and restaurant services promptly and accurately.
- Regularly inspect menu presentation to ensure it meets company standards.
- Keep track of table status, ensuring cleanliness and availability for guests.
- Maintain knowledge of airport facilities and respond to guest inquiries accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Engage with guests upon arrival and departure to enhance their dining experience.
- Provide consistently professional and warm service while adhering to grooming standards.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and assist with take-away orders when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.
## Requirements
- Minimum high school qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong listening skills and ability to respond to demanding guest needs.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Team-oriented with the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a busy setting.
