Job Description
Meraki Talent is hiring a Head of Operations for a new global online trading brokerage launching in Q1 2027. This is a remote full-time role to build the operational framework from the ground up, covering MT4/MT5, PSP onboarding, client onboarding, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. Requires 5+ years in Retail CFD Operations and 2+ years managing people. High-growth, well-funded fintech environment.
## Responsibilities
- Build and implement the firm's operational framework from the ground up ahead of Q1 2027 launch
- Oversee day-to-day operational infrastructure across the brokerage
- Manage MT4/MT5 operational processes, controls, and best practices
- Monitor trade booking, reconciliations, and operational risk
- Lead payment service provider PSP onboarding, integrations, and ongoing management
- Oversee client onboarding, account opening, and operational workflows
- Develop robust operational controls, policies, and governance procedures
- Support audit processes and regulatory reporting requirements
- Build, mentor, and lead an operations team as the business grows
- Drive operational efficiencies through automation and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
- Work closely with executive leadership to ensure operational excellence across the client lifecycle
## Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Retail CFD Operations
- At least 2 years' experience managing people and teams
- Proven experience building or improving operational frameworks within a retail brokerage
- Strong knowledge of PSP onboarding and payment operations
- Hands-on experience with bridge technology including OneZero and/or Centroid
- Experience managing MT4/MT5 operational environments
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, operational risk, and reconciliations
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting
- Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to thrive in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve workflows
