Job Description
QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company) in Doha is hiring a Digital Office Manager to lead the company’s digital transformation agenda. Reporting to the CTO, the role drives the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of digital initiatives across the business. This senior, full-time, on-site position requires 10+ years of experience in digital implementation and innovation, preferably in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals, with 5+ years in a managerial role.
## Responsibilities
- Interpret the digital strategy and identify innovative solutions to support strategy implementation
- Drive QAFCO's digital vision and strategy definition and steward the digital initiatives roadmap
- Identify and ideate digital business opportunities across the value chain based on operational challenges
- Oversee development of an integrated digital budget and spend plan aligned with strategic objectives
- Identify synergies for developing and implementing digital solutions across functions
- Review digital value realization and ROI to ensure investments deliver tangible outcomes
- Develop digital expertise through a Center of Excellence model tailored to business needs
- Oversee the digital use case lifecycle from design and prototyping to full-scale roll-out
- Lead development of partnerships with local and global innovation ecosystems
- Act as the single point of contact and key advisor to QAFCO executives on digital topics
- Represent QAFCO at local and global digital and innovation events and associations
- Manage and evaluate the portfolio of innovative ideas collected from across the company
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and threats
- Lead teams to build and implement digital products and track implementation progress
- Monitor digital strategy execution, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation measures
- Lead the ideation program to identify digital opportunities with compliance to HSE standards
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in digital implementation, innovation, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role, preferably within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with digital transformation, emerging technologies, and product delivery
- Certifications in project management such as PMP are an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
