Design Manager - Infrastructure

## About Qatar Rail - Red Line Metro
Qatar Rail is responsible for the railway network in Qatar. Overseeing metro and railway projects. Red Line project is one of the largest transportation projects in the region.

## Role Overview
Lead the design team for metro infrastructure projects. Review and approve engineering designs and ensure compliance with Qatar Rail and QCS standards.

## Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: manage consultant and designer teams for civil and MEP disciplines
- Review: review and approve design stages Concept, Preliminary, Detailed Design
- Standards: ensure application of Qatar Rail design standards and safety standards
- Coordination: coordinate with government entities Ashghal, Kahramaa, Ooredoo
- Issues: resolve design issues on site and provide engineering solutions
- Delivery: follow up design deliverables according to project schedule
## Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 12+ years experience including 5 years as Design Manager in metro or tunnel projects
- Previous experience with Qatar Rail or international metro projects is a big advantage
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, QCS
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
- Leadership skills and managing multiple consultants
