Job Description
Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères is hiring a Cultural Attaché for Institut français du Qatar in Doha, Qatar, On-site. Lead cultural strategy, annual programming and France-Qatar cultural cooperation.
## About the Organization
The Institut français du Qatar is the official French cultural institute in Doha under the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. Our mission is to promote French culture, language, and artistic exchange in Qatar.
## Role Overview
We are looking for a Cultural Attaché to lead the design and implementation of the annual cultural program and strengthen cultural ties between France and Qatar.
## Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the annual cultural calendar: arts, cinema, music, literature, theater, and debates
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Qatari cultural institutions, museums, universities, and artists
- Oversee budgeting, planning and execution of cultural events, festivals and exhibitions
- Supervise French language programs and DELF/DALF certification exams
- Represent the Institut in official meetings, cultural forums and media engagements
- Coordinate with the French Embassy in Doha and the global network of French Institutes
## Requirements
- Master's degree in Cultural Management, Arts, Humanities, or International Relations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cultural programming and project management
- Fluent in French and English. Arabic proficiency is a strong asset
- Prior experience in diplomatic or cultural institutions preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
