Job Description
Qatar Living® in Doha is seeking a creative, bilingual Content Editor to produce and manage high-performing digital content. The role focuses on short-form video, social media, trend-driven content, and performance optimization across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Snapchat. This full-time, on-site position requires 3+ years of content creation experience and fluency in Arabic and English.
## Responsibilities
- Create engaging written, visual, and short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and emerging platforms
- Develop captions, scripts, hooks, headlines, and post copy in both Arabic and English
- Capture and produce short-form content including reels, stories, interviews, event coverage, and trend-led formats
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, quality standards, and platform best practices
- Support day-to-day publishing across social platforms and maintain content calendars
- Adapt content formats for platform-specific performance and audience behavior
- Monitor trends, cultural moments, and viral opportunities relevant to Qatar and the region
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and retention
- Apply platform insights to optimize content for saves, shares, watch-time, and interaction
- Support community engagement including comments, messages, and audience interaction
- Coordinate with designers, editors, videographers, and internal stakeholders
- Support branded content, client deliverables, and campaign execution
- Assist with minor translation and localization needs
- Support on-ground filming and content capture during events and activations
## Requirements
- Fluent in Arabic and English - written and spoken - mandatory
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital publishing
- Strong writing and copywriting skills across social and editorial formats
- Good understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and audience behavior
- Basic filming and mobile content capture skills
- Experience using scheduling and content management tools: Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer, Later
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and apply insights to improve content
- Familiarity with short-form editing tools: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva
- Strong cultural awareness of Qatar, GCC audiences, and expat communities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines
## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace, classifieds, lifestyle, or media platforms
- Experience with influencer collaborations and trend-led content
- Understanding of viral content dynamics, hooks, and retention strategies
