Job Description
Qatar Living is looking for a creative, bilingual Content Editor to produce and manage high-performing digital content across social platforms. The role combines content creation, performance analysis, and community engagement to drive growth and interaction in a fast-paced, digital-first environment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha requiring fluency in both Arabic and English.
## Responsibilities
- Create engaging written, visual, and short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and emerging platforms
- Develop captions, scripts, hooks, headlines, and post copy in both Arabic and English
- Capture and produce short-form formats including reels, stories, interviews, event coverage, and trend-led content
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, quality standards, and platform best practices
- Support daily publishing and maintain content calendars across social channels
- Adapt formats for platform-specific performance and audience behavior
- Monitor trends, cultural moments, and viral opportunities relevant to Qatar and the region
- Track content performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and retention
- Apply platform insights to optimize for saves, shares, watch-time, and interaction
- Support community engagement through comments, messages, and audience interaction
- Coordinate with designers, editors, videographers, and internal teams on campaigns and branded content
- Assist with minor translation and localization tasks
- Support on-ground filming and content capture during events and activations
## Requirements
- Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken, is mandatory
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital publishing
- Strong writing and copywriting skills for social and editorial formats
- Solid understanding of social platforms, content formats, and audience behavior
- Basic filming and mobile content capture skills
- Experience with scheduling and content management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer, or Later
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and apply insights to improve content
- Familiarity with short-form editing tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, and Canva
- Strong cultural awareness of Qatar, GCC audiences, and expat communities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines

- Experience in marketplace, classifieds, lifestyle, or media platforms
- Experience with influencer collaborations and trend-led content
- Understanding of viral content dynamics, hooks, and retention strategies
