Job Description
Dubai Careers, under the Smart Dubai Initiative, is seeking a Communications Officer based in Dubai. The role focuses on developing communication strategies and content to connect job seekers with employment opportunities across the emirate. This full-time, on-site position requires strong writing skills, campaign experience, and the ability to work with government and private sector partners.
## Responsibilities
- Plan and execute communication and awareness campaigns for Dubai Careers initiatives
- Create and edit content for websites, social media channels, and marketing materials
- Coordinate with internal teams and public and private partners to launch programs
- Manage media relations and cover job fairs and career events
- Track campaign performance and prepare regular reports with insights
- Ensure all messaging aligns with Smart Dubai brand guidelines
- Support the organization of employment-related workshops and events
## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or media
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of the Dubai job market and government sector is an advantage
