Kitopi in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Commis Chef specializing in Mexican Cuisine for an on-site role. Prepare authentic Mexican dishes in a cloud kitchen environment with focus on quality and speed.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, chop vegetables, and marinate meats according to Mexican recipes
- Assist in cooking Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, and quesadillas under chef supervision
- Maintain HACCP food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Keep workstation and equipment clean and adhere to Kitopi standards
- Help with receiving orders, storing ingredients, and monitoring expiry dates
- Work efficiently to fulfill fast delivery orders while maintaining taste
## Requirements
- 1+ year experience as Commis Chef, preferably in Mexican cuisine or QSR
- Knowledge of Mexican spices and cooking techniques + ability to work fast
- Culinary diploma is a plus
- Basic Arabic or English for team communication
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and under pressure
- Passion for food + clean, organized, and team player
