Job Description
International Turnkey Systems - ITS in Manama, Bahrain is hiring a full-time Business Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives for a well-known Islamic Bank. The role focuses on gathering business requirements, enhancing customer experience for mobile and internet banking, and supporting AI banking initiatives. This on-site position requires 3-5 years of BA experience, preferably in banking or fintech, with strong analytical, communication, and technical skills.
## Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for digital banking projects
- Analyze customer journeys and propose enhancements for mobile and internet banking platforms
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria with technical details
- Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure customer-centric design
- Support AI banking initiatives by identifying use cases and data requirements
- Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements to optimize efficiency
- Maintain product, project, and test documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional collaboration
- Discuss requirements and priorities with stakeholders to ensure alignment
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or fintech
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret and improve business processes, systems, and applications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders
- Proven problem-solving skills to identify root issues and propose innovative solutions
- Technical fluency with familiarity in databases and software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of the banking sector with focus on digital and internet banking products
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies for project planning and execution
## Preferred Qualifications
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent certification
- Exposure to programming languages and database management tools
