Barista

## Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, tea, and other drinks while following approved recipes and accommodating guest preferences.
- Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Deliver consistent beverage quality and attractive presentation.
- Welcome guests, accurately process orders, and recommend suitable drinks or menu options.
- Handle customized orders and dietary requests efficiently while responding professionally to guest questions or concerns and referring complex issues to management.
- Process payments through POS systems, including cash, card, and room charge transactions, in line with hotel procedures.
- Keep preparation areas, equipment, counters, and guest spaces clean and compliant with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Replenish operational supplies including cups, lids, napkins, condiments, and beverage ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels, report inventory shortages, and assist with receiving and rotating supplies using first-in, first-out practices.
- Coordinate with restaurant, kitchen, and food and beverage teams to maintain smooth service, especially during busy periods.
- Support café or restaurant operations by assisting with pastries or light snacks when required.
- Represent the hotel's service standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere through professionalism and attention to detail.

## Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food and beverage position.
- Good understanding of coffee preparation methods, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for payment processing and stock-related tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic coffee equipment maintenance.
- Food Handler Certificate or barista training/certification is required.
- Teamwork skills and strong attention to detail.
