## About petenco
petenco is an independent advisory, investment partnership and delivery firm operating across the energy and chemicals value chain, including renewables, power and utilities, refining and petrochemicals, and storage and terminals. We combine board-level advisory with execution capability, taking assets from concept to operation.

## The Role
This role extends the CEO's capacity with two main focuses:
1. *Delivery follow-through*: Maintain a live view of all open commitments, engage with project leads and stakeholders, and drive items to closure on time.
2. *Rapid research & document production*: Take a brief and return structured market studies, feasibility inputs, technical summaries, briefing notes or one-page recommendations, often at short notice.

## What you will do
- Maintain a structured, live view of all open commitments and deadlines from CEO meetings and decisions
- Follow up persistently with senior internal and external stakeholders and drive items to completion
- Identify slippage early, understand root cause, and escalate with proposed solutions
- Conduct rapid research on markets, technologies, regulations, and competitors in decision-ready format
- Build market studies, sector briefings, feasibility inputs, financial models and analytical workbooks
- Draft briefing notes, decision memos, one-pagers, teasers, proposals and board/management presentations
- Prepare CEO for meetings, capture decisions and actions, coordinate multi-party workstreams across entities
- Handle sensitive commercial and financial information with discretion
## What you bring
*Must-have*
- Master's degree with strong academic record
- 1 to 3 years professional experience in management consulting, strategy, corporate development, investment, advisory, or project development
- Written English suitable for senior/external audience without rewriting
- Practical fluency with AI tools for research, analysis and drafting with disciplined verification
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including financial modelling capability
- Willingness to relocate to Dubai. UAE employment visa sponsorship provided
*Nice-to-have*
- Background in engineering, chemistry, economics, finance, law or related analytical discipline
- Prior exposure to energy, chemicals, industrial, infrastructure or EPC sectors
- Experience working directly with senior leadership
- International study/work experience

## Location
Dubai, UAE. On-site, full-time.
