Job Description
Al Abdulghani Motors in Doha is hiring an Assistant Manager - Revenue to support revenue and cost accounting strategy. You will develop policies, ensure IFRS compliance, drive process improvements and digitalization, prepare business plans and budgets, and collaborate across business units to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
## Responsibilities
*Strategy & Process*
- Assist in developing and implementing department strategy aligned with company objectives
- Establish best practices and processes in Revenue Accounting focused on customer needs
- Re-engineer revenue and cost processes, introduce digital solutions to improve efficiency and eliminate waste
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, manuals, and SOPs for revenue accounting in line with IFRS
- Create and manage Service Level Agreements for the revenue function
*Analysis & Reporting*
- Analyze and interpret revenue and cost data to produce insightful reports for timely decision making
- Assist Business Units in developing pricing policies and revenue streams
- Prepare and verify Revenue, Cost of Sales, and Gross Profit business plans and budgets across all units
- Assist in feasibility studies and project appraisal reports
*Compliance & Controls*
- Ensure accurate accounting of revenues and costs per company policy and IFRS
- Assess and monitor risks in Revenue Accounting and implement mitigation measures
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for audits, tax, and ICV
- Verify inventory provisioning and monitor impairment to reflect fair value
- Plan and coordinate annual 100% physical inventory count across all Business Units
*Operations*
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on revenue accounting solutions for complex transactions and new products
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to Principals with proper reconciliation
- Foster teamwork and mentor direct reports to develop future leaders
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Qualified CA / CPA / ACCA
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting, financial reporting, or related area
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and budgeting processes
- Experience with process improvement, digitalization, and ERP systems
- Analytical skills with ability to translate data into business insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
