Job Description
Volga Partners is hiring Arabic speakers in UAE for freelance speech and transcription tasks. Record Emirati dialect, review transcripts, evaluate audio/text quality. $10-$15 USD/hour. Remote, task-based. MSA + UAE dialects required.
## Role Overview
Support speech and text-based language tasks to help improve language quality for technology and research use.
## Nature of Work
- Recording Arabic speech in Emirati dialect, individually or in conversation
- Reviewing and correcting Arabic transcripts for accuracy and clarity
- Evaluating audio and text quality based on provided guidelines
- Producing natural, context-appropriate, and fluent language
- Working across Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and spoken UAE dialects
## Key Skills and Requirements
### Language Proficiency
- Fluency in Arabic, with strong familiarity with Emirati dialects
- Clear understanding of pronunciation, tone, and natural expression
- Ability to distinguish between MSA and informal usage
### Attention to Detail
- Ability to identify and correct linguistic errors
- Strong listening and reading comprehension skills
- High level of accuracy in reviewing and producing content
